Call for Abstracts

Submit an abstract to contribute to the scientific programme of the 42nd IAHR World Congress in Bari. Please review the call and author instructions below before accessing the submission system.

Abstract submission

Submission deadline:

Abstracts must be submitted through the Microsoft CMT conference management system. Submissions will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee on a rolling basis, with acceptance decisions communicated almost in real time.

  • Accepted abstracts will form the basis of the official Book of Abstracts.
  • Authors will select the most relevant Congress topic or approved Special Session during submission.
  • Submission assistance is available from the Congress Secretariat at info@iahr2027.org.

Before submitting

Instructions for Authors

Authors are responsible for ensuring that every requirement below is met before submitting the abstract through Microsoft CMT.

  1. Use the official abstract template and do not modify any of its styles.
  2. Limit the abstract text to 300 words. The title, author names and affiliations, keywords, equations, figures and references are excluded from the word count. The complete contribution must not exceed two pages.
  3. Select a topic or Special Session. During submission, choose the most appropriate Congress topic or approved Special Session in Microsoft CMT.
  4. Convert the completed abstract to PDF before uploading it to Microsoft CMT.
  5. Request assistance when needed. Contact info@iahr2027.org for support with the abstract submission process.
